Daniels Fund awards $4.3 million to
Wyoming nonprofit organizations in 2015

In 2015, the Daniels Fund granted $46.5 million to highly effective nonprofit organizations throughout Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming, as well as select national organizations. Wyoming communities are benefiting from $4.3 million in grants to outstanding nonprofits throughout the state.

Wyoming nonprofit organizations that received grant funding include:
12-24 Club, American Legion Wonderful Wyoming Boys State, Boy Scouts of America (Greater Wyoming, Longs Peak, and Trapper Trails Councils), Boys & Girls Club (Central Wyoming, Dubois, and Sweetwater County), Bright Futures Mentoring Program, Casper Family YMCA, Central Wyoming Rescue Mission, Child Development Center of Natrona County, City of Riverton, Developmental Preschool and Day Care Center, Dubois Volunteer Fire Department, Fathers in the Field, Food Bank of the Rockies, Future Farmers of America Association, Johnson County Family YMCA, Mother Seton Housing, Needs Incorporated, North East Wyoming Economic Development Foundation, Saint Joseph's Children's Home, Senior Citizens Council, Senior Citizens of Meeteetse, Special Olympics Wyoming, University of Wyoming Foundation, Volunteers of America Northern Rockies, Weston County Children's Center, William H. and Carrie Gottsche Foundation, Wyoming Association of Sheriffs and Chiefs of Police, Wyoming State 4-H Foundation, Youth Alternative Home Association, and Youth Emergency Services.

The Daniels Fund makes grants in eight funding areas specified by its founder, Bill Daniels: Aging, Alcoholism & Substance Abuse, Amateur Sports, Disabilities, Early Childhood Education, Homeless & Disadvantaged, K-12 Education Reform, and Youth Development.

The Daniels Fund also provides scholarships to students in Wyoming through two distinct programs — the Daniels Scholarship Program, which provides college scholarships to deserving high school seniors, and the Boundless Opportunity Scholarship (BOS) program, which provides funding to participating colleges to offer scholarships to non-traditional students.

In addition, the Daniels Fund provides funding for Ethics & Integrity in Education in Wyoming through the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative and other efforts.
