Seeds of Hope Provides Scholarships for Deserving Students
Denver, Colorado – Seeds of Hope Charitable Trust has received a $500,000 Daniels Fund grant to support its Scholarship Programs for students from low income families.
Seeds of Hope Charitable Trust makes the benefits of Catholic education available to Denver’s children living in economically disadvantaged areas. Through tuition assistance grants, operating support and grants for programs and technology, Seeds of Hope supports the Catholic elementary schools serving a low-income, high minority population concentrated in the inner-city of Denver.
“This grant will enable our program to initiate two-year tuition scholarships for 100 students in grades three through seven at 12 elementary schools in the Archdiocese of Denver,” said Laurie Vieira, Executive Director.
“While this is a tremendous benefit for our scholarship program, we need an additional $1,481,000 to help support our families this school year,” said Vieira. “We rely on the support of the Denver community to help raise these additional funds to provide the lifelong benefits of a Catholic education to kids in struggling neighborhoods.”
