How the Daniels Fund Scholarship has impacted my life:

Please describe what it means to you to be a Daniels Scholar:     I am so proud to be a Daniels Scholar.  I feel as though I have won an award.  This scholarship has brightened my future.  My success and opportunities are wide open. This scholarship is teaching me to work hard and only accept the positive things in life. Because I have received so many blessings from the Daniels Fund program I feel the need to exhibit that same kindness to others. My success and opportunities are endless and my future has been brightened.

What do you like most about being in college?     College is a challenge. You have to push yourself to do well and be successful in college. I personally like the challenge.

What has been the greatest challenge so far in college?     My biggest challenge has been choosing a major. Determining what you want to do for the rest of your life is a big decision.

What advice would you offer someone who is applying to become a Daniels Scholar?  The best advice I can give is to be determined.  Go after what you want, and when you get it don’t forget to thank God for the blessings you receive.
