How the Daniels Fund Scholarship has impacted my life:

Please describe what it means to you to be a Daniels Scholar:   It means that someone out there cared enough to help me do what I want in life. It means that I have to step it up and become a better person because a wonderful person like Bill Daniels did, and because of him I have a chance.

What do you like most about being in college?   I love the freedom. In high school you had to be there from 8 to 4 every day, but here, you know when your classes are and you have the choice of how to spend your time.

What has been the greatest challenge so far in college?   As an out of state scholar, I think the most challenging thing is being away from my family and friends.

What advice would you offer someone who is applying to become a Daniels Scholar?   Believe in yourself,  because you are worth everything the Daniels Fund can offer you, and be on time with everything you have to do to get this scholarship
