Ethics Initiative

An initiative to deliver principle-based ethics education

Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative

Overview

The Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative delivers principle-based ethics education, and reinforces the value of ethical business and personal conduct. Each of the Ethics Initiative's four components utilizes a specific approach to reach its target audience. Funding is provided through the Daniels Fund Grants Program.

Collegiate Program

The Collegiate Program is a partnership with ten business schools and one law school at universities across our four-state region that drives principle-based ethics education.

High School Program

The High School Program provides an earlier introduction to principle-based ethics to students active in business courses and student organizations.

Law Enforcement Program

The Law Enforcement Program is a partnership with seven police departments in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming that expands principle-based ethics training.

Case Bank

The Case Bank is an online library of straightforward ethical dilemmas that prompt the application of a principle-based ethical framework.

Ethics Funding

The bulk of the Daniels Fund's ethics grantmaking relates to the programs listed above. On a very limited basis, we provide funding for additional ethics programs that complement the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative. If you are interested in discussing an ethics grant, please contact Bo Peretto at [email protected].

The Daniels Fund and our Collegiate Program partner schools, established these straightforward and understandable principles that form the philosophical foundation of all Ethics Initiative activities:
