Leroy J. Williams, Jr is the Chief Executive Officer of CyberTekIQ, which partners with clients to maximize business performance through smart technology investments and the deployment of information security best practices.

Prior to CyberTekIQ, he was the Global Chief Information Officer for Ball Corporation. From 2005-2016, Williams served as a member of the Senior Executive Team tasked with strategy development, achievement of profitable growth, and enterprise risk management across three global product lines focused on consumer packaged goods and aerospace technologies. As an executive business partner, he was responsible for all aspects of information technology, cyber security, data analytics, and value added business solutions across the global reach of the company.

Prior to Ball Corp, he spent three and a half years working in the public sector as a cabinet member for Colorado Governor Bill Owens' administration. In this capacity, he served in several roles with statewide responsibility, including the Secretary of Technology, the Chief Information Officer, and the Executive Director for the Department of Labor and Employment.

Before his career in the public sector, Williams directed Qwest's supply-chain management and procurement B2B initiatives. He also served as Director of E-Business for U S West/Dex, Inc., Director of Local Market Integration for U S WEST Communications, and Senior Manager of Business Process Integration for U S WEST, Inc. Prior to his career in telecommunications, Williams worked in the banking industry for Norwest (now Wells Fargo) as a Senior Technical Consultant responsible for the design, development, and deployment of next generation technology solutions.

Williams currently serves on the board of directors for UMB Financial Corporation, the Daniels Fund, and the Colorado Education Initiative. He previously served on the Governor's Commission on Information Management as the chairperson, the Governor's Commission on Science and Technology, the Statewide Internet Portal Authority, the Colorado Workforce Development Council, the Aurora Education Foundation, and the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce.

Williams served 4 years in the U.S. Army and trained as a telecommunications specialist. He holds a master's in business administration from the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business and earned an undergraduate degree in computer information science from Denver Technical College. Leroy is a Colorado native and a graduate of Hinkley High School in Aurora.
