Gayle Greer

Gayle Greer's career in cable television and internet services made her one of the country's most prominent business executives. She served in several capacities during her twenty-year tenure, including Senior Vice President of Time Warner Communications and Group Vice President of Time Warner Cable. Gayle had responsibility for 35 cable systems with over 350,000 customers in 33 states. She also managed the integration of telephony and cable operations in several cable divisions. In 1998, Gayle retired from Time Warner Entertainment, then a division of AOL/Time Warner.

Gayle co-founded and chaired GS2.Net, a business services provider delivering managed application solutions to emerging and aggressive growth companies in the broadband services market, as well as to the charitable giving market through BS2.Net's portfolio company, Donor Net.

Gayle is Co-Founder and past Chairwoman of the National Association of Minorities in Cable and Telecommunications. She has served on the board of directors of ING North America Financial Services Company in Atlanta, eLEC Communications, Inc. in White Plains, New York, and One World Theater in Austin, Texas. She served as Chair of the Mile High United Way Board of Trustees from 1990 – 1992, chaired its allocations committee from 1988 – 1990, and also served on the Young Americans Bank board from 1998 – 1999.

Gayle's management experience includes over 10 years with nonprofit organizations, with an emphasis on community development and empowerment, job development, and affordable housing. She has significant experience working with diverse groups and individuals in a wide variety of disciplines and institutions and has been featured in the Denver-based magazine In the Black, and has appeared as a guest panelist on Oprah.

Gayle is the recipient of several awards and recognitions including Time Warner's Andrew Heiskell Community Services Award, The National Cable Television Association's Vanguard Award for Leadership, and the L. Patrick Mellon Mentorship Award. She has been featured in Denver Business Journal's 1997 – 2001 Who's Who in Telecommunications.

Gayle earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Houston. She resides in Silverthorne, Colorado.
